Pulsed TIG welding is an advanced welding technique that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode and an inert gas (such as argon) to protect the welding area.
The electrical current alternates between high and low levels to control heat and penetration.

What are the key parameters?

  • Pulsation Frequency: Frequency of alternation between high and low currents.
  • Peak/Base Time Ratio: Proportion of time in maximum and minimum current levels.
  • Peak and Base Amplitude: Maximum and minimum current levels during pulsation.

 

How is pulsed TIG welding performed?
